The sports events we have been involved in are not just local to Glossop but inter-table competitions throughout Greater Manchester such as 5-a-side football, cricket and bowling tournaments.  Nationally there is a National Sporting Weekend held at a different University Campus every September where Tables and Areas get to together to compete and of course have fun.  See www.nsw2008.org.uk
As a Local Table we have been Go-Karting, Ice Climbing, Abseiling, Cycling at the Velodrome, on hill walks, 4x4 driving and skiing just to mention a few more recent events.
